With less than two weeks' notice, and following a disappointing experience with a previous contractor, the team at Barnsoul needed immediate support to uphold the high standards expected at their unique lodge accommodation.
Challenge
The previous housekeeping arrangements had fallen short, resulting in inconsistent standards and growing concerns from guests and management alike. The site needed a rapid turnaround — both in staffing and performance — with zero disruption to ongoing operations.
With typically a month required to fully mobilise a new contract, the Godfrey Group was challenged to build and deploy a dedicated team in under two weeks. This meant recruiting, onboarding, and training staff at pace, all while maintaining our quality-first approach.
Solution
To meet the urgent demand, we accelerated our mobilisation plan and stepped up one of our experienced managers, Gail, to Regional Manager, ensuring strong leadership and consistency during the crucial setup phase.
From day one, our team hit the ground running. Louisa and Laura, two of our senior leaders, took a hands-on approach to understand the layout, guest flow, and operational nuances of Barnsoul’s beautiful and authentic lodges.
