Housekeeping Manager
Godfrey Group Facilities Ltd is a national housekeeping company with our head office based in Ruthin, North Wales. We are currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Manager to join our team at one of our client’s holiday parks in Hexham, England (near Slaley Hall).
You’ll be responsible for leading and supporting the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the park.
Please note: You will need your own transport to get to the site, and a full driving licence is required.
The Role
- Contract: Permanent, 24 hours per week
- Salary: £17,971.20 per year (£14.40 per hour)
- Key working days: Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays (some Sundays may be required)
- Typical hours: 9am – 4pm
Main responsibilities include:
- Managing the housekeeping team to ensure all accommodation meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Handling guest complaints professionally and implementing improvements where needed.
- Coordinating with the maintenance team to resolve any issues within accommodation units.
- Liaising with Head Office and your Operations Manager to complete admin tasks and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Managing staff rotas in line with arrivals and departures to ensure sufficient cover.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department and ensuring all cleans are completed before the 4pm check-in deadline.
- Supporting the resort’s senior management team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
- Carrying out general administrative duties as required.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience managing a housekeeping team, ideally in a holiday park or hotel setting.
- Is confident managing people, rotas, and deadlines.
- Is computer literate, with basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Has excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Delivers high standards of customer service.
- Takes responsibility for their own performance and team development.
